How It Works

The EBAC FD100 Lumber Dryer removes moisture from lumber using a controlled dehumidification process inside a drying kiln. The integrated STC1 Controller automatically manages both the drying and heating cycles by using a proportional timer and thermostat to maintain ideal drying conditions.

As moist air circulates through the dryer, moisture is condensed and removed while the air is reheated and returned to the kiln. This continuous process gradually lowers the wood's moisture content without drying it too quickly, helping prevent warping, checking, and cracking. The FD100 is designed to efficiently dry lumber to moisture levels as low as 6%, producing high-quality kiln-dried wood with minimal operator intervention.
